Kalynn did what??

Yeah, I got "the" call today. Kalynn got in trouble at school. The teacher called and she she would just NOT listen today! She got so bad that Kalynn didn't get a snack or a sticker. She said that she's usually not like this, so she was just surprised. She also thinks that maybe this class is a bit slow for her. So, maybe we'll have an ARD, maybe there's a class for kids that are a little higher..

Pregnancy wise, I'm doing well. I've already outgrown my size 8's and my 10's are getting a bit tight, which is sad but it's for a good cause. I feel a bit tired, but other than that, I feel really good! I've been running, but I've had to cut back some.

Anyway, that's that!

Christmas

I finally have a few minutes to post about Kalynn's Christmas. She had a wonderful Christmas! She's been DYING for a My Little Pony, and she finally has My Little Ponies. She actually has 4!We did our gift exchange on Christmas Even since we were going to be gone all day. From "Santa" she got some princess shoes, a My Little Pony Amusement Park with a MLP, some play makeup. At Mimi's house, she got a vaccuum cleaner, some finger paints, Color Wonder stuff, and some books. At Aunt Barbara's house, she got a MLP, coloring books, Dora towels, Dora books, From Aunt Ida and Jamie and her family: puzzles, princess watch and a princess nightgown..From Paw Paw gave her a GC to Build a Bear and this is what she got (minus the little pillow)


She LOVES it and this is the "Mommy Pony" to MLP's.

She's been a bit ornery lately. Maybe it's because she's been not napping for the past couple of days. We went out to eat with mom, and OMG, she was LOUD. This old man came up to her and started talking to her, and she just ate it up.

Hopefully, after a few days, and after the rush has gone away, she'll be my sweet girl.

Big news!!

Well, now that everyone knows the news, I can finally blog about it.

Yes, I'm pg with #2!! Due date is late August, early September. We are very excited. Kalynn doesn't quite know what to make of it. We asked her if she wants a brother or a sister and she said she wants a My Little Pony LoL I'm very happy, scared, excited, you name it. I wonder how Kalynn will act when baby gets here, if I will love this child as much? the same? as Kalynn, how will Kalynn feel that she won't be the baby anymore?

A few things I hope to do with this one..I hope to exclusively breastfeed this one, without having to supplement like I did with Kalynn, which is just due to the cost of formula. I also want to cloth diaper this one.. I know, you're thinking of the cloth diapers from when we were kids, with those pins and rubber pants. These are not at all like these. I used them for a bit with Kalynn and they are really very easy to use and very absorbant.And...I also want to try to do a water birth, without the drugs. I didn't really like the epidural, one side of my body was numb and couldn't move, while the other one wasn't. I, of course, may change my mind during labor and say screw it, give me the drugs!!

I also want to keep in shape. I want to keep running. Hopefully, it'll help with labor. Well that's the big news!

Santa!

Yesterday, Kalynn got to see Santa! She was so in awe of him. She went right up to him and gave him a hug. Had no problems sitting on his lap. She told him that she wanted a My Little Pony. The picture turned out so great. She looks like such a big girl!

She's a little confused though..She thought that she would get a MLP right then LOL We had to explain to her that she would have to wait til Christmas to get one. She was NOT happy. But she got over it. This morning, she checked the Christmas tree LOL

That's pretty much it! Next Sunday is Christmas!!

Eskimo

Doing pretty well! Kalynn's a silly little girl. Her latest thing is "Eskimo kisses". She's now branched out to "Eskimo ears" "Eskimo eyes" and "Eskimo head". Yes, my child is a silly goof ball.

Another thing she's been doing is being so caring. Today, we saw Brandon, Karla, and Journey at Johnny Carino's. Kalynn was holding JOurney's hand and said "It's ok! Don't worry!" No idea why, but hey, it was cute.

We plan on taking her to see Santa next week sometime. I'm sure she's going to ask for My Little Pony.

3 going on 16

Oh Kalynn, she cracks me up. Things have been going pretty good here. She's gotten more defiant lately and is the queen of delaying bed. Mom said that kids start doing that and to get her to go potty BEFORE she goes to bed. So, we did that and it worked. She didn't get out of bed at all last night instead of getting up every 5 seconds to go potty.

I've been on a sewing kick. It's so fun to sew especially since I have a little girl to make stuff for. I made her a fleece hat (a crown fleece hat, perhaps appropriate for Ms. Drama Queen?) , and Christmas dress (for under $10!) and just yesterday I made her some flannel PJ's (for not even $2).

This morning made me think she is 3 going on 16. She asked if she could eat in the livingroom and I said no, we eat in the kitchen on the table. She threw a fit and then informed me that she is going far far far away and not talk to me. I asked why? She said "because I'm mad at you!" Fine, be mad. She got over it quickly after pointing out a bunny rabbit on a piece of paper.

Makes me wonder what I have in store in the years to come!

Update

Well, actually not much to update.

This weekend, I took Kalynn to get her haircut. Her hair was so long; it was to the middle of her back. We went to this neat place called Cool Cuts. It's specifically for kids. They have movies to let the kids watch what movies they want to watch. And the stylists are SOOO nice and understanding. I think it's cute but Kalynn informed me that she doesn't like it.

Kalynn went to her Mimi's house since my friend Naomi and I went to a fair. Mimi took her to see Chicken Little and said that she enjoyed it!

Sorry mom, but I gotta embarass you a bit. My mom and Kalynn are just SO cute together. Kalynn just adores her Mimi. I know mom loves to spend time with Kalynn and even *gasp* babysit!! It's kinda sweet and funny because mom said she'd never babysit my kid when I had one. Hahahaha!!! (love you mom!!)
